I have been practicing law in excess of forty (40) years. During my career, the single most important aspect has been my relationship with my clients. There is a reason that we have long-term relationships with our clients and that is because of the overriding concern to be a business partner with our client. I have always felt the need to be a value-added business partner, not just an expense for the client. I have always cared more about what is in my client’s best interest than this Firm’s best interest and it is that philosophy that has allowed this Firm and its clients to prosper over the many years in practice.
Although I have primarily been a Litigator for most of my career, we also counsel our clients how to avoid litigation. Litigation is extremely expensive and not always in a client’s best interest. Early evaluation of a client’s position and exposure is critical.
My practice is varied in terms of the industries and clients that we service. The areas of law that we practice are just as varied, but all come within the confines of a business practice.
One of the areas that we have devoted substantial efforts in is Employment Defense Litigation. Our Firm only represents employers, and our range of experience includes wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, as well as counseling our clients how to avoid those types of lawsuits.
The industries that we do Employment Defense Litigation encompasses the retail sector, private security, defense of caregiver litigation, construction related labor issues, restaurants/bars, nightclubs, animal hospitals, gymnastics studios, financial institutions, cannabis cultivators and distributors, and chemical manufacturers, just to name a few.
Our practice also covers a wide array of business and commercial disputes, including but not limited to representing large Landlords, small investors, insurance companies, financial institutions and lenders, construction companies, restaurants/bars, and nightclubs. Our Firm philosophy is to look at every single file with the same eyes and effort so that little files get the same attention as big files. If the case is important enough for a client to ask us to handle, then no matter what the size it deserves our full attention.
